CEO pay: private sector still far ahead of PSUs
This
so called 'research' study , if closely and rightly looked at, ought
not to be mistaken or misinterpreted , by any standard or logic to
provide, even remotely, any justification for the given case in which
the chief /top brass is alleged to have indulged in 'corrupt' practice.
On this premise, the personal views set out under "PSU perks lower
attrition", as understood, are besides 'the point', actually requiring
to be researched on and investigate in -depth., in a different
light/with a distinct focus. to be precise, that there is a disparity or
non-comparability in the remuneration of CEO's of the two sectors
cannot be a true or lawful defense, if faced with any type of
allegation, not only of the kind herein, but also as regards the
'quality' of 'service' to the respective customers and other
stakeholders. For after all, the duties and responsibilities of the
CEOs, so also of the other officers, be it in private or public sector, are identical, not to be
differentiated, for any purpose whatsoever, wrt disparity in pay.

Makes for an incisive cum provocative, really ‘inflammatory’
reading! Is it not a tragedy and unabashed shame that he was obliged to borrow
and cite all his observations exclusively with sources in foreign soil ; none
from our own motherland. Does that bear
on its sleeves a tacit admission or confession;
that is, as a great visionary
from the bottom of his heart and
remorsefully used to lament , our nation, despite its glorious heritage.
profoundly rich history, to be proud of
, continues to be painfully replete with 'low aroused' and 'unthinking ' people , with no concern in
the least to the happenings all around; more so, in the society across the length and breadth back home. Time
to arrive for introspection seems no better or worse than a mirage in Sahara.
