Especially, if the problem is clearly and unmistakably one of the kind that has the potential and is going to impact, not just the individual, but the society at large, in which he lives in and hence is requited /duty bound to play a role, voluntarily or otherwise, if and when the need to not merely react but also pro act and try and find a solution, arises.
